Founded in 2021 in Florence, Soccer Academy Florence is a point of reference for anyone who wants to improve their soccer skills. Our personalized and innovative approach is based on specific training and tailor-made programs designed to enhance the potential of each individual athlete, regardless of their level of experience or age.

About us

Our main goal is to train well-rounded athletes, not only from a technical standpoint, but also physically and mentally, preparing them to face the challenges of modern soccer.
For this reason, our qualified staff, through the use of advanced methodologies and attention to detail, offers a growth path that enhances the talent of each athlete, providing them with the tools necessary to excel both on and off the field.

What do we work on?

Specific basic technique: we focus on the fundamentals of the game and advanced technical skills, refining every detail. We work specifically on: dribbling, receiving and passing the ball, feints, shooting at goal, aerial play, and strengthening the weaker foot.

Individual and collective tactics: we develop the ability to read the game and make effective decisions, both personally and as a team. We work specifically on: 1vs1, 2vs1, 2vs2, positioning on the field, spatial- temporal perception, and exercises targeted at each individual player’s role.

Coordination and motor patterns: we improve body control to develop fluid and effective movements. We work specifically on: movement management, posture, running style, agility, strength, speed, intensity, and balance.

Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention

REHABILITATION 
Specific work with a physical therapist, athletic trainer, and coach for athletes who have suffered:

INJURY PREVENTION
Specific work with a physical therapist, athletic trainer and coach to prevent possible injuries caused by:

SAF KIDS

An activity exclusively dedicated to children aged 4 and 5, designed to offer a unique and engaging learning experience.

The lessons, organized for small groups of 8-10 participants, are designed with the aim of combining learning, motor skill development, and pure fun. Through playful motor activities and the gradual introduction of targeted exercises, children are guided through a process of progressively acquiring coordination skills and the technical fundamentals of soccer. The teaching approach focuses on creating a peaceful and stimulating environment where each child can develop their abilities at their own pace and according to their own characteristics.

Activities take place on Wednesdays both indoors (play area) and outdoors (artificial turf pitch).

Winter and Summer Camps

CAMP IN FLORENCE: We organize weeks with flexible hours (from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the option of half days) and a program full of sports and recreational activities. The package includes lunch, a morning snack, and a training kit.

CAMPS OUTSIDE FLORENCE: For those who want an even more intense adventure, we also offer week-long summer camps outside Florence with overnight stays.

INTEGRATION OF CAMPS FROM OTHER SPORTS CLUBS: Management and organization of the technical program for camps run by sports clubs that request the service.

Support for Sports Clubs

We offer a personalized training service directly on the fields of sports clubs that request it.

The number of training days can be agreed upon based on requests, ensuring maximum flexibility and adapting to the club’s schedule.

We are currently collaborating with: US Sales and C.S. Porta Romana (Soccer School); US Affrico (youth sector); F.c. Cubino (first team).

Collaborations

Sales Calcio Firenze

Present on the field: Every day

Starting in October 2022, our team of experts will combine their skills with those of the instructors at Sales Calcio Firenze ASD, an historic sports club in Campo di Marte. Working in synergy, we offer young players in the Soccer School and Youth Sector a personalized growth path focused on developing fundamental technical and coordination skills.

Through specific and engaging training sessions, such as 1vs1 and 2vs2 drills and themed matches, we aim to improve individual and collective performance.

For the 2025/26 season, our instructors will be on the field with the soccer school age groups (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) and our athletic trainer will be there on Mondays and Wednesdays for the youth sector.

U.S. AFFRICO

Present on the field: Wednesday and Thursday

In October 2025, our Academy began a partnership with the prestigious sports club U.S. Affrico.

Our staff will support the Campo di Marte club in the technical management of its youth sector, conducting a fourth weekly training session for the 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 age groups, focusing on technical and situational aspects in close collaboration with the coaches.

In addition, the SAF staff is constantly available to share moments of discussion and in-depth analysis with the Affrico coaches, in order to promote the individual and specific development of each athlete and the collective development of the team.

C.S. Porta Romana

Present on the field: Monday

In October 2024, our Academy began a new collaboration with the historic sports club C.S. Porta Romana.

Working alongside the coaches of the respective teams, our instructors strive to offer young athletes a comprehensive, high-quality training experience. Thanks to innovative methodologies, we focus on refining basic technical skills and enhancing the motor and coordination abilities of the young players. Through targeted exercises and fun activities, such as themed games and individual challenges, we stimulate the growth and development of each individual player.
For the 2025/26 season, our coaches will be on the field with the following age groups from the soccer school: 2014, 2015, 2016.

FC Cubino

Present on the field: Wednesday

In January 2025, we began a prestigious collaboration with the first team of F.C. Cubino, a leading sports club that, in just ten years of history, has achieved extraordinary goals, climbing the various amateur categories to reach the Promozione league.

Our collaborators work in synergy with the technical staff of the yellow and blue team, offering a targeted and specialized contribution in the analysis and development of tactical situations, both collective and departmental. This approach allows us to optimize the team’s performance, enhancing each individual player and ensuring constant technical and strategic evolution.

Florence Bilingual School

Activities held on: Tuesday and Thursday

In October 2023, we launched a significant collaboration with the Florence Bilingual School Kindergarten, a prestigious institution accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education.

This project involves extracurricular activities that our instructors conduct twice a week at one of the school’s locations. During these sessions, a structured training program is offered, aimed at learning and progressively consolidating the motor and technical skills related to soccer. The main objective is to encourage young participants not only to improve their sporting skills, but also to develop fundamental values such as discipline, teamwork, and a passion for sport.

CEA CAPA Education Abroad

Since January 2026, our Academy has been collaborating with the prestigious CEA CAPA Education Abroad, an international organization with over 75 years of experience in creating academic, professional, and internship programs abroad, which involves between 300 and 500 students from various universities in the United States each semester.

As part of this partnership, we offer CEA CAPA students a practical and immersive experience in the world of soccer through:

the opportunity to actively train with our technical staff

A path that integrates academic training and athletic growth on the field, combining international education and professional development and contributing to the training of prepared, aware, and future-oriented young people.

Petra Donato Nutrizionista

Optimization of athletic performance based on: choice and quantity of foods before and after training/games; quantification of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats based on age, role, and lifestyle; proper hydration.
